Hi there!
Today I’m sharing one a card using items from Concord and 9th’s Lovely Blossoms Turnabout Stamp and Die sets.
I had a strip left over from the background that I made from this card. It was just too pretty to go to waste! To accompany this strip, I die cut the sentiment out of a scrap piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I used Copic R24 and R22 markers to color in the sentiment, creating an ombre effect. Then I die cut the sentiment three more times out of white 110# Recollections cardstock. I stacked and adhered all the die cuts together, with the colored layer on top.
I used another die from the set to create a hexagon out of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock and then adhered the sentiment to the middle.
With all of my pieces ready to go, I adhered the patterned strip to an A2-sized card base and then adhered the hexagon with its sentiment over it. And that finished up my card!
Thanks for visiting!
Such a beautiful card, love the patterned strip and how it balances with the simplicity of the rest of the card.
