Hi there, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I’m sharing a quick and easy birthday card using heat embossing and Distress Oxide inks.
I’m really loving this new geometric floral wreath from Neat & Tangled Floral Frame stamp set. There are some additional flower and leaf elements to this set, but after playing with them a bit, I decided to just stick with the basic frame with just a few dots for embellishment.
I heat embossed the frame, as well as the two sets of dots, using VersaMark ink and Ranger Super Fine Gold embossing powder. I embossed onto an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. Then, I embossed the sentiment in the center of the frame.
Using Evergreen Bough, Wild Honey, and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide inks and a Pentel Aquash waterbrush pen, I watercolored the flowers and leaves. Then, when the panel was dry, I adhered it to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for coming by!
All the heart eyes!!! SO pretty 🙂
