Altenew: A Year In Review Blog Hop

Hello and welcome!

I’m very excited to be part of Altenew’s 2021 A Year in Review Blog Hop. If you arrived from the SathyaKala Sankaran’s blog, you’re right on track. If you want to hop along from the beginning, visit the Altenew Card Blog. Check the bottom of this post for the full blog hop list!

Of the very many cards I made this year using Altenew products, these are my four favorite.

The card at the top left features the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Seasonal Blooms set. I used the included layering coloring stencils and Altenew inks to color each layer of the flowers and then used the coordinating die to cut out the image before adhering it to an ink-blended background.  For more details, please visit this post.

The card at the top right features the Build-A-Flower: Honeysuckle stamp and die set.  I stamped each layer of the flowers and leaves with Altenew inks and then adhered them to a background with a hand-drawn frame. For more details, please visit this post.

The card at the bottom left uses the gorgeous Craft-A-Flower: Cosmos Layering Die Set.  I cut the layers of the flowers and leaves from different colors of cardstock and then adhered them to an Altenew ink-blended background splattered with Altenew liquid watercolor. Then I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Needlework Motif stamp set. For more details, please visit this post.

And finally, for the card at the bottom right, I used the beautiful Fresh Bloom layering stamp set and coordinating dies (also available as a bundle), along with the Diamond Frame Cover die.  I stamped the layers of the flowers using Altenew inks and then adhered them onto a white-on-white background made with the die.   3. Dear Seeka – You have been so kind to me. I need to make you a card this week before the week is entirely gone. The cards you chose here are GORGEOUS – all of them. I am partial to the lily and the Hello! cards, though.

    I’d love to win but I don’t usually do Altenew’s blog hops. They’re ridiculously long. My time is worth more to me than looking through that many crafters’ sites. I made an exception for a few of you (you, Daniel Diaz and a couple of others).

    Keep doin’ what you do, woman! You’re AWESOME!
