You’re The Sweetest | Altenew Paint-A-Flower: African Daisy Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! We’re celebrating the release of the new Altenew Paint-A-Flower: African Daisy Outline Stamp Set! If you arrived from Emily Midgett‘s blog, you’re right on track. If you want to hop along from the beginning, please visit the Altenew Card Blog. Be sure to check the bottom of this post for giveaway information and the full blog hop list.

I started off my almost-one-layer card today by stamping the African Daisy image in Copic-friendly Permanent Black Crisp Dye ink onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Next, I used red, yellow red, and yellow Copic markers to create fiery blooms. The colors I used are Y35, Y38, YR07, and R37 (if I were to use this color scheme again, I’d choose a much darker red for more contrast at the center of the flowers). For the leaves, I used YG01, YG03, YG25, and YG17.

Next, I trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and the width of the panel, keeping the image roughly centered. I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink and then, to finish, I used foam tape to adhere the card front to a panel of light blue cardstock which I then adhered to a card base.

Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is the super-talented Tenia Nelson. Be sure to check below for information about the giveaway and for the full blog hop list!
