You’re The Sweetest | Altenew Paint-A-Flower: African Daisy Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello and welcome! We’re celebrating the release of the new Altenew Paint-A-Flower: African Daisy Outline Stamp Set! If you arrived from Emily Midgett‘s blog, you’re right on track. I started off my almost-one-layer card today by stamping the African Daisy image in Copic-friendly Permanent Black Crisp Dye ink onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. Next, I used red, yellow red, and yellow Copic markers to create fiery blooms. The colors I used are Y35, Y38, YR07, and R37 (if I were to use this color scheme again, I’d choose a much darker red for more contrast at the center of the flowers). For the leaves, I used YG01, YG03, YG25, and YG17.

Next, I trimmed 3/8″ off both the length and the width of the panel, keeping the image roughly centered. I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink and then, to finish, I used foam tape to adhere the card front to a panel of light blue cardstock which I then adhered to a card base.
