Love You Lots | Simon Says Stamp All The Feels Release

Hello there, lovely!

The new Simon Says Stamp All The Feels release is live and today I’m sharing a clean and simple card featuring two new slimline products: Mini Slimline Windows and Mini Slimline Stencils. The die includes six different words and since the letters fall out, you can mix and match to spell different words!

I started off by cutting two 3″ x 6.25″ panels of Neenah Classic Crest 80# Smooth Solar White cardstock. I positioned the diagonal stripe stencil from the Mini Slimline Stencils set over one panel and used painter’s tape, on the back side, to temporarily hold the panel to the stencil.

Next, I used Altenew Blending Tools to blend Altenew inks over the stencil. I started with Rose Quartz ink (from the Rose Petal ink pad set) at the bottom right of the panel and blended the color upwards, following the diagonal pattern. Then I blended Dew Drops (from the Sweet Dreams ink pad set) down from the top left to meet, and just barely overlap, the pink. This layer of blending was solid with no gradation of color. After rinsing and drying the stencil, I repositioned it over the pattern, shifting it down just a bit in order to create a denser pattern of stripes. This time, I blended Purple Wine ink up from the bottom right, concentrating color at the corner and then letting the color fade out as I moved up the panel. I did the same with Teal Cave, concentrating the color at the top left and letting it fade out as I moved down the panel.

Next, I used the Mini Slimline Windows to cut three windows from my second panel, setting aside all of the fallout letters. I used Darice Double-Sided Adhesive Foam Strips to adhere the window panel over the background. Then I adhered the letters, spelling out “Love You Lots.”

To finish, I adhered the card front to a card base.

Thank you so much for visiting! I hope you’ll check out the entire All The Feels release!
