Miss You | Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Coral Sunset Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy Monday, crafty friend!

Today, we’re celebrating the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Coral Sunset Release! If you arrived from Nathalie DeSousa’s blog, you’re right on track. If you want to hop along from the beginning, visit the Altenew Card Blog. Check the bottom of this post for giveaway information and the full blog hop list.

I started off my simple but bold card by using Post-it Tape to mask a half-inch border on each side of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. Next, I used foam blending tools to blend Candied Apple, Abandoned Coral, and Tattered Rose Distress inks onto the panel, laying on a generous amount of color and then taking the time to blend the colors where they overlapped.

When the ink was dry, I stamped the gorgeous Coral Sunset image and the sentiment onto the panel in black pigment ink. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop in the hop is Amanda Baldwin, and be sure to read below for information about the giveaway and for the full blog hop list.

  1. Beautiful ink colors and nice white frame! This is my kind of card as I can’t actually color in a flower like that worth a hoot!!

  2. Ohh, very nice hombre’ look and you did it with Distress Oxide blending. Gorgeous colors, I have them and will have to try it. The outline flowers are a perfect go-with, I love this PAF set.

  3. I love the simplicity of the card (I’m sure getting the tape just right can be challenging, at least for me LOL). Love how the image overlaps to the white areas. Your ink blending is inspirational!

  4. Beautiful card. I honestly thought it had been stamped twice (once on white and once on a smaller piece of colored paper. I learned a new and simple technique. Thank you.
