Hi there, I hope you’re having a nice weekend and that you’re enjoying the first days of spring!
Today’s card features the Forever Flowers card kit from Gina K. Designs. I shared a couple of other cards using the card kit a few weeks ago, so be sure to check out that post for additional inspiration.
I started off by stamping the lovely daffodils image from the 4″ x 6″ stamp set included the kit in Copic-friendly Obsidian Amalgam Ink at the bottom of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I colored the blooms using Y13, Y15, and Y17 and then I used YG03, YG25, and YG17 for the stems and leaves.
Next, I used a blending brush to blend Ocean Mist ink at the top of the panel, pulling the color down and around the flowers. I also added a bit of color to the bottom corners of the panel.
I stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, in black ink and then trimmed the panel to 4″ x 5.25″. To finish, I used foam tape to adhere the panel to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for coming by!
