Thinking Of You | A Blog Named Hero November Challenge

There’s a new challenge up over on A Blog Named Hero. This month’s theme is Glitter & Sparkle and today I have a soft and sparkly card featuring the Christmas Rose background stamp and the Tri-Fold Edge Village die set.

I started off by using Gold Glitter embossing powder to heat emboss the Christmas Rose background onto a 3″ x 4.25″ piece of Peony cardstock.

Next I used one of the village dies to cut a piece of Dove White cardstock. I trimmed the scene to 3″ wide and then backed it with a piece of loosely fussy cut Dove White cardstock, making sure that all of the little cutouts in the village were covered. Then I stamped a sentiment from the Fuzzy Winter Animals stamp set onto the piece.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the village to the Peony background, and then used more foam tape to adhere the scene to an A2-sized piece of Dove White which I then adhered to an A2-sized card base.
