Hi there, lovelies, I hope your weekend is getting off to a nice start!
Today I have a sweet gnome from Scrapflower Estudio. Patricia, the artist behind the studio, has lots of sweet digital images for sale in her Etsy shop!
I purchased and downloaded the Candy Cane Nordic Gnome and then resized him to a size that would be nice for a focal image on an A2-sized card. I used my inkjet printer to print him onto a piece of Neenah Solar White and then settled down to color him with Copic markers.
For reds, I used R22, R35, and R46 and for the trim on his hat and shirt, I used N0, N3, and N4. For his beard I used W2 and W4 and for his nose I used E23, E25, E27, and E29. Then I used a white gel pen to add some highlight details before cutting him out with my ScanNCut. It would also be very easy to fussy cut him since his outline is uncomplicated.
Next, I used the Concord & 9th Swirl dies to create texture on an A2-sized piece of Neenah and then used foam tape to adhere the gnome to the panel. I added a sentiment from the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set from Simon Says stamp, white heat-embossed onto Hero Arts Pitch Black cardstock. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
