Hi there, I hope your weekend has gotten off to a nice start!
The little kitty in the August Hero Arts My Monthly Hero kit is perfect for the new challenge up on A Blog Named Hero. This month’s theme is “Cute.”

I started by stamping several images from the kit in Copic-Friendly INTENS-ified Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I colored them up with a variety of Copics and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.
For the background, I used ink-blending brushes to blend Lemon Drop, Creamsicle, and Fruit Punch Reactive inks onto a 4″ x 5.25″ panel of Strathmore bristol smooth cardstock. I started by blending Lemon Drop up from the bottom of the panel, then I layered on Creamsicle, and finished with Fruit Punch.
Next, I die cut the “Greetings from” sentiment (which comes with the kit) once from Hero Arts black cardstock, and twice from scrap white cardstock. I stacked and adhered the layers together, and then trimmed off the “from.”
To assemble the card, I adhered the pot of the potted plant flush to the background and then added a couple of pieces of foam tape behind the leaves on the left side of the plant. Then I adhered the kitties to in the hanging chair, and used foam tape to adhere the hanging chair to the background. I also used foam tape to adhere the books and butterfly. I adhered the sentiment just end of the rope of the hanging chair.
To finish, I backed the panel with foam tape and adhered it to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

GREAT CARD
