Hi there, I hope you’re doing well. Today I have an easy and colorful clean and simple card for you.
I started with a small panel of Bristol Smooth Cardstock. Using foam blending tools, I blended Wild Honey, Carved Pumpkin, and Abandoned Coral Distress Oxide inks onto the panel. Because Bristol smooth has a coating and a blending motion eventually just wipes off ink rather than depositing it onto the cardstock, after I have a good initial layer of color on I switch from a blending motion to a tamping motion. This also helps with getting a nice smooth transition between colors.
When the panel was dry, I used Versafine Clair Nocturne ink to stamp a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp Greetings Mix 1 stamp set.
To assemble the card, I backed the ink-blended panel with foam tape and adhered it to an A2-sized card base.
