Hi there, happy Friday and happy Valentine’s Day! I’m so excited to be part of the Hero Arts 2020 catalog release blog hop today, celebrating an amazing new collection of stamps and dies!
If you’ve arrived from the amazing A Blog Called Wanda, you’re right on track. If you want to start at the beginning of the hop, head on over to the Hero Arts Blog!
Sending You Fields Of Joy

The first card I have to share today uses the gorgeous new Tulip Field Coloring Layer Scape stamp and die set (also available separately). This pretty field of flowers consists of four layering stamps. I stamped the two grass layers in two colors of green, and then the two flower layers in yellows. I used the coordinating die to cut out the field and then set it aside.
Next, I used foam blending tools to blend Tumbled Glass and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide inks onto an A2-sized piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. When the panel was dry, I put it into a Misti stamp positioning tool and inked up the top of the tree stamp with green ink and stamped it onto the panel. Then I inked up the trunk part of the tree stamp with brown ink and stamped. While I had the panel in the Misti, I went ahead and stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink.
I used the cloud die to cut out three clouds from scrap white cardstock. I ran a Marvy Uchida Snow Marker over each cloud and then hit them with my heat gun. When heat is applied, the liquid from the marker puffs up like snow, or like puffy clouds!
To assemble the card, I adhered the clouds with adhesive tape, adhered the field of flowers with foam tape, and then glued the card front to an A2-sized card base.
You’re a Total Oranginal

My second card features the juicy new Orange Blossoms stamp and die set (also available separately). For this card, I stamped the bunch of oranges and the leafy branch in black pigment ink onto watercolor paper. Next, I watercolored using Brusho Crystal Colour powder pigments (I have several blog posts where I talk more about Brusho) and then die cut both images and set them aside.
For the background I stamped the new Circle Pattern Bold Prints cling stamp in gray pigment ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. I created another, smaller, rectangular panel using a die from the Nested Rectangles Infinity Dies set. I stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink and then adhered the oranges and branch with foam tape before adhering this panel to the background panel. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Sending Healing Thoughts

For my last card, I used the sweet little Hero Florals Lavender Bunch stamp and die set (also available separately, if you hadn’t already guessed!). I stamped out a ton of lavender in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink and then did some quick coloring with BV01, BV02, and BV08. I die cut them out and set them aside.
Using white Hero Arts embossing powder and Wow! Embossing Pad, I heat embossed the sentiment onto black cardstock and then trimmed the cardstock down to a strip.
To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the sentiment to the center of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. Then I used Zots Bling adhesive dots to adhere the lavender bunches and branches around the border of the card. I trimmed off the pieces of lavender hanging off the card and then adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Beautiful cards! Really unique use of the lavender stamps. I really like the way they surround the sentiment. I enjoyed your landscape using the color layering tulips stamp too. It is cool that it’s so clear above the more free-form flower field. It’s a neat effect. TFS and the chance to win.
