Altenew 2019 Year In Review Blog Hop

I’m so excited to be part of Altenew’s 2019 A Year in Review Blog Hop. If you arrived from the Terri Koszler’s blog, you’re right on track. Of the many cards I made this year using Altenew stamps and dies, these are my four favorite.

The card at the top left features the Build-A-Flower: Dahlia stamp and die set and the Fine Frames Cover Die. I used Altenew inks to stamp each layer of the flowers and leaves and then used Copic markers to add additional shading and details.  The background is an ink-blended panel.  For more details, please visit this post.

The card at the top right features the Engraved Flowers and the Crafty Life stamp sets.  The floral set includes beautiful flowers and leaves with “engraved” lines that hint at where to shade, how easy is that?! I colored with Copics and again used ink-blending to create a framed background. For more details, please visit this post.

The card at the bottom left uses the gorgeous Wonderland stamps and dies from the January release.  I heat embossed the florals onto Bristol Smooth paper and then watercolored them with Distress Oxide inks. For more details, please visit this post.

And finally, for the card at the bottom right, I used the stunning and graphic Build-A-Flower: Hellebore stamp and die set.  I stamped the layers of the flowers using Altenew inks and once again created a framed ink-blended background. For more details, please visit this post.

  47. I like the tilted frame of the dahlia card and the background inked touch of the crafty hugs. The wonderland in that light color is lovely too.
