Hi there, I hope your week is going well!
It’s been a very busy couple of days for me so today I’m sharing a quick and easy card using one of of my favorite go-to techniques when I just want to de-stress and get inky!
I started by using Wow! Embossing Pad and white Hero Arts embossing powder to heat emboss the Simon Says Stamp Star Flower cling stamp onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock.
Then, using foam blending tools, I blended on a trio of Distress Oxide Inks; Milled Lavender in the center of the flower pattern, Dusty Concord around the rest of the flower, and Seedless Preserves over the rest of the card front.
Then I used the Simon Says Stamp Big Friend die to die cut the sentiment, and its shadow layer, from Neenah Solar White. I inked up the shadow layer with Seedless Preserves and then adhered the two layers together.
I stamped the small “Hello” sentiment, from the Simon Says Stamp Tiny Words stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto a strip of Neenah Solar White.
To assemble the card I adhered the large sentiment flush to the card front and then adhered the small sentiment strip with foam tape. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
Love 💜
