Today I played with the pretty new Heart And Soul stamps and dies from Pinkfresh Studio. How pretty is this floral spray?!
I started by using Wow! Embossing Pad and Brutus Monroe Gilded Ultra Fine Embossing powder to heat emboss the spray of flowers onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then I used Polychromos colored pencils (Grass Green, Permanent Green, Burnt Carmine, and Pompeian Red) to color in the flowers and leaves, with just a touch of shading. I used the coordinating die cut to cut out the spray and then I backed it with foam tape.
For the sentiment I used two stamps from the Bloom stamp set, also from Pinkfresh Studio. I stamped the large sentiment in Catherine Pooler Polished ink and the small sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
I decided to add a partial frame so I penciled in the lines with a ruler and then traced over them with a gold Uni-ball Gel Impact pen. To finish the card, I adhered the floral spray and then adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
