Hello there, I hope your week is going well!
Today I’m combing some new and old Altenew to make a love card.
Using the Frosted Garden stamp set and a Misti stamping tool, I laid out the various flower and leaf stamps to cover an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I stamped the flowers in Altenew Lavender Fields ink and then, using an acrylic block, I stamped the little stamen details in the centers of the flower using the same color. Then I used I used Copic BV00, V25, and V28 to add shading.
I used the Mega Love die to die cut “love” four times, once from Neenah Solar white and three times from white #110 Recollections cardstock. I layered and glued all four die cuts together, with the Neenah Solar White layer on top, so that it would match the background.
The “sending” sentiment is from the Flower Vine stamp set. I masked off a portion of the sentiment to reveal just the one word and then stamped in onto the background in Versafine Clair Morning Mist ink, which is a medium gray.
I adhered the mega love sentiment and then decided to add a frame. I had some extra frames from when I used the Fine Frames Cover die yesterday so I picked one of the larger ones and adhered it to the background.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for swinging by!
Stunning floral background!
