Hi there, I hope you had a lovely day!
Today I was feeling so grateful to have a fireplace mantel full of handmade cards sent to me by friends I have made through Instagram on my card-making journey. I made this card with the crafty community in mind because they, and you, truly make my heart happy.
I used the Altenew Botanical You layering stamp set to stamp the Y-O-U using Altenew inks: Grass Field, Shadow Creek, Rubellite, and Maple Yellow. I stamped onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock and then used the coordinating die to cut out the letters. I used the die three more times on scrap 110# white cardstock and then glued four layers of each letter together to add dimension.
For the background, I stamped the Altenew Pattern Play – Diamond stamp set in Altenew Limestone ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. The pattern reminds me of a trellis which I thought would look nice with the florals.
To create a solid area for the sentiment to sit on, I used the Altenew Fine Frames Cover die to cut a collection of frames from Neenah Solar White. I glued three of the medium sized frames together onto another piece of Neenah Solar White. I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and then adhered the Y-O-U. To finish, I adhered this small panel to the background and then adhered the background to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
