Hi there and happy weekend!
Today I’m sharing a sweetie from Picket Fence Studios. I’m not sure exactly what she is, but why try to label such cuteness?! I interpreted her as a little flying strawberry ;p
I used Picket Fence Studios’ Black Hybrid Ink to stamp the image from the Flying By To Say Hi stamp set onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then I colored using R21, R22, R24, R29, and R39 for her body and wings, and YG01, YG07, YG17 and YG67 for her leaves. For her face I used E50, E21, and E23.
I used a Brother ScanNCut2 to cut her out and then backed her and her little flyaway leaves with foam tape.
Using the third largest die from the My Favorite Things Stitched Rectangle Stax die set, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White for the background. I cut a slightly larger piece of paper to create a frame and used R22 to color the edges. I adhered the two pieces together and then stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
To finish the card, I adhered the little strawberry and her flyaway leaves to the sentiment panel and then adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for coming by!
