Holiday Cards, Winter Cards

Joy Peace Love

Hi there, happy mid-week!

I’ve finally gotten to this beautiful background stamp from Hero Arts which has been sitting on my desk for a couple of months.  I love how delicately intricate the pattern is!

I used Catherine Pooler All That Jazz ink to ink up the Floral Doily background stamp adn then I stamped it onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock.

Using the Holiday Words die set from Ellen Hutson’s Essentials By Ellen line, I die cut the sentiment four times out of white 110# Recollections cardstock and once out of Neena Solar White.  I adhered all five layers together, with the Neenah Solar White on top, to match the white of the background.

I adhered the sentiment pieces to the background, using the negative space of the die cut as a template for even spacing.  Then I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

On my desk, left over from the last week, was a lonely snowflake from My Favorite Things.  I had inked up the snowflake with It’s a Boy Catherine Pooler Ink and then heat embossed it with Hero Arts White Satin Pearl embossing powder.  I added a teeny bit of foam tape to the back of the snowflake and adhered it to the card for a final embellishment.

Thanks so much for swinging by!
