Hello, I hope your week is going well!
Lately I’ve been digging through my crafty stash looking for neglected items that deserve some play time. I came across this beautiful stamp set from Concord and 9th, and paired it with some seldom used, but much loved, violet inks.
I used the Concord and 9th Snowflakes Turnabout stamp to create the background, stamping in three Catherine Pooler ink colors: Sweet Sixteen, Pixie Dust, and Flirty Fuchsia. I stamped the last turn of the turnabout stamp in Wow Embossing Pad ink and used Judikins Translucent Gold embossing powder to emboss the last set of snowflakes. I love this soft golden color!
The turnabout stamp includes pretty dots but I found that when I was done stamping, the top and bottom edges of the card looked a little bit blank. So, I used V15 and V05 Copic markers to add additional dots right up against the edge of the panel.
I masked off the lower part of the “snowflake kisses & holiday wishes” stamp from the set and stamped just “snowflake kisses” onto a small piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. I cut a slightly larger piece of cardstock and colored the edges with the V15 Copic. I adhered the two, then backed the piece with foam tape and adhered it to the card front. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
