Hi there and happy Sunday! I hope you’re having a lovely day 🙂
Today’s card uses a Hero Arts stamp set that has been in my stash almost since I started making cards last year and I’m finally pulling it out to give it some play time on this CAS card.
I started with an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock and one of the strings of lights from the Hero Arts Sparkle Borders stamp set. I placed the paper in a Misti stamping tool, and then stamped the string of lights multiple times. The stamp is straight, but I bent it this way and that and used the Misti magnets to help hold the bend while I picked up the stamp with the Misti lid. I used Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink.
Then I stamped the sentiment, from the Right At Home Fa La La stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
When the stamping was done, I used R21 and R43 for the pink bulbs, and B000, B01, and BG02 for the blue bulbs. Then I added Ranger Glossy Accents to each of the bulbs. I have a 2oz. bottle of Glossy Accents and a while back I transferred some to a Quilled Creations Precision Tip Glue Applicator bottle which made applying the Glossy Accents precisely over the bulbs a breeze.
I set the card front aside to dry for a few hours and then I adhered it to an A2-sized card base to finish.
Thank you so much for coming by!
