Hi there, I hope you’re having a lovely day!
Today I’m back with another card using the beautiful Outline Snowflakes cling stamp from Simon Says Stamp.
I used VersaMark ink and white Hero Arts embossing powder to heat emboss the Simon Says Stamp Outline Snowflakes cling stamp onto Canson XL watercolor paper.
I wet the entire background using a flat brush and clean clear water. Then I very gently tapped some Catherine Wheel Nuvo Shimmer Powder over the panel. Using a 2 round brush I gently moved the powder and color around so that the entire panel was covered. I say gently because I wanted to maintain the varying colors in the Catherine Wheel powder and if you move the powder too much, it tends to blend into a single color.
While the panel was drying, I used the Believe die and the Tiny Words Christmas stamp set to create the sentiment. I die cut “believe” out of white cardstock and its shadow layer out of vellum, and then I adhered them together. I stamped the rest of the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto white cardstock.
When the background was dry, I adhered the die cut with a bit of liquid glue and used foam tape to pop up the stamped sentiment. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
