Hi there, happy Saturday!
I’m a bit behind these days, but technically still on track for the 30-day coloring challenge. After a long work-week a few bitty bears were about all I could manage last night, lol!
I used Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink to stamp a few of the cute bears from My Favorite Things’ Bitty Bears stamp set onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then I did some very basic coloring using E21 and E23 for the bears’ fur. Before I colored the red elements, I added texture to the fur by adding a few drops of Copic Blending Solution onto a rag and dabbing it over the fur. Then I used R02 and R05 to finish the accessories. I added a few white gel pen details and then die cut the images.
I used the Circle Frames die from Avery Elle on an A2-sized piece of Neenah to create the card front. I trimmed it to 4″ x 5.25″, backed it with foam tape, and then adhered it to another piece of cardstock. I adhered the bitty bears to the directly that back panel and then added the sentiment which I had heat embossed using white Hero Arts embossing powder.
For the blue base, I colored the edges of another piece of Neenah using B00. I like to do this when I don’t have the right color of cardstock.
To finish, I adhered the card front to the blue-edged panel and then adhered the entire thing to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
