Happy November and happy first day of The Daily Marker’s 30-Day Coloring Challenge! I’m looking forward to playing along and also to being a goodwill ambassador for the challenge, spreading love and encouragement all month. If you’re not familiar with the challenge, read more here and come join in the fun!
For today’s card I pulled out a new and a slightly older stamp set from Neat and Tangled. I love that this wreath can be for any season and today I’ve used it for a Thanksgiving card.
For today’s card I used the wreath and floral images from Neat and Tangled’s Floral Frame stamp set. I stamped the wreath onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock and stamped the individual flowers and leaves onto some scrap Neenah. I used Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink.
The I got down to coloring. I used YR21, YR23, and YR24 for the flowers. For the little berries I used YR15, and YR16. I also used a 0.3 Copic Multiliner pen to draw in the berries at the top right of the card, to fill in the white space. I used G20, G21, G24, and G28 for the leaves.
I used a Brother ScanNCut2 to cut out the individual floral elements and set them aside. Using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, I stamped the sentiment from Neat and Tangled’s Birch Leaf stamp set. Then I used foam tape to adhere the die cut elements around the frame.
To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
