Hi there!
I’m so very behind on blog posts so I’m playing a bit of catch up. I shared this card over on Instagram on Saturday for day 3 of The Daily Marker’s 30-Day Coloring Challenge. It was a long week at work and about all I had energy for was coloring these pretty intricate die cuts from Pinkfresh Studio.
I started by die cutting some of the Dainty Florals dies out of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then I colored them using Copics. I used V22, V25, V28, and BV08 for the purple flowers, RV42, R32, R14, and R29 for the red flowers, and G21, G24, and G28 for the leaves and stems.
Then I trimmed an A2-sized piece of Neenah down to 4″ x 5.25″ and used one of the dies from the Noteworth Frames die set which partically cuts out a frame. Using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink, I stamped a sentiment from the My Favorite Things To Say stamp set and then tucked the flowers through the partially die cut frame. I used a bit of paper tape on the back side to hold the flowers in place and also used a few drops of glue behinds some of the flowers to secure them.
I used the G21 marker to color in the borders of an A2-sized piece of Neenah and then adhered the card front to it before adhering the whole thing to an A2-sized card base to finish.
Thanks so much for visiting!
