Happy Friday!
Today I’m sharing a quick and easy card using a few basics from Ellen Hutson’s Essentials By Ellen line of stamps and dies.
This fun dots stamp is from the Wonky Backgrounds stamp set designed by Julie Ebersole. I positioned it in my Misti and inked the first couple of rows of dots with Altenew Pink Pearl ink. Before stamping it down onto my A2-sized panel of Neenah Solar White, I used a cloth to soften the edge of the ink that would later be overlapped with a darker pink. This helps prevent a harsh line. I stamped, and then I cleaned the stamp. I inked up the middle two rows with Altenew Coral Berry ink and used the cloth again to soften the edges where the colors would overlap. I repeated these steps with Altenew Orange Cream ink.
I rotated the panel 180 degrees and then inked the entire stamp in Altenew Blush ink and stamped.
I used the Many Thanks die, also designed by Julie Ebersole, to cut the sentiment out of 110# black Recollections cardstock. I adhered it to the card front and then adhered the panel to an A2-sized card base to finish.
Thank you so much for visiting!
