Hello Fall

Hi there and happy Friday!

Today I’m pretty much doing the opposite of experiencing fall.  I’m flying from warm California to hot hot hot Florida.  So, I thought I’d make a bit of fall since I’m surely not going to see it this weekend!

I started by using the largest die from the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Rectangle die set to cut a panel of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock.  Then I used the Hero Arts Layering Fall Trees stamp set to stamp the tree, leaves, and the scattered leaves.  I used Hero Arts Cup O’ Joe ink for the tree trunk, and Red Royal, Just Rust, and Butter Bar for the leaves.  On the tree, I also used Delicata Golden Glitz ink for some shimmery leaves.

Then I stamped the sentiment, from the Simon Says Stamp Autumn Greetings stamp set, in Versafine Onyx Black ink.

I adhered the panel to an A2-sized piece of dark red Recollections cardstock and to finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
