Today I’m sharing a one-layer card using a cute set from Ellen Hutson’s Essentials By Ellen line. I just love Julie Ebersole’s designs!
All of the images are from the Snailed it stamp set. I don’t usually do a lot of masking, but I thought a one-layer card would be really nice for this set.
I started by stamping the snail’s shell in Gina K. Prickly Pear ink. Then I masked it off and stamped the snail’s body in Simon Says Stamp Khaki ink.
Then I moved on to the mushrooms and stamped their stems in the same Khaki ink and their heads in Gina K. Red Velvet ink. The two small mushrooms are one single stamp so I selectively inked up the stems first and then the heads.
I masked off the mushrooms and used Altenew Moss ink to stamp the green stems with leaves.
Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and to finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
