I’m still catching up and so I’m quite late in sharing today’s card which uses a beautiful set of layering flower stamps.
These gorgeous blooms and leaves are from the Peony Bouquet stamp set from Altenew. The sentiment is from Altenew’s Crafty Friends stamp set. I just love the adorable craft-related sentiments in that set!
I started by stamping the first layer of the floral elements in Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. The remaining layers I stamped from light to dark using Altenew inks:
Pink flower: Coral Berry, Ruby Red, Grapevine
Yellow flowers: Warm Sunshine, Honey Drizzle
Leaves: Frayed Leaf, Forest Glades, Evergreen
Then I used a Brother ScanNCut2 to cut out all of the images.
The card front is an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White onto which I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. I covered the sentiment with a piece of scrap paper and then I splattered Hickory Smoke Distress Ink which I’d watered down with a bit of clean clear water. I removed the scrap paper and then added a few small dots of Hickory Smoke closer to the sentiment.
I used Zots Bling adhesive dots to adhere the peony and the rest of the flowers and leaves. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
