Hi there, happy mid-week!
Today I’m sharing a very simple card using a set from Concord and 9th that’s been neglected in my stash for a while. Also, I’m clearly in denial that it’s autumn in North America 🙂
I used the Beautiful Branches stamp set to stamp all of the flowers in Altenew Rouge ink onto Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock. Then I die cut the flowers using the coordinating die set. I also die cut the centers of the flowers out of some gold foil paper from Recollections. I don’t often use patterned or specialty papers, but I thought this pretty textured gold would be a nice addition. I adhered the centers to the card using a Zig 2-way Glue Pen.
The background is a piece of Strathmore Bristol Smooth onto which I blended Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Then I splattered clean clear water onto it and let it sit for 15 seconds before I blotted it up with a paper towel. Then I stamped the branch in Altenew Mocha ink and the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocture ink.
I curled up the petals of the flowers before I adhered them to the background using Zots Bling adhesive dots. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for coming by!
