Hi there, I hope your weekend is getting off to a nice start! I’m feeling really relieved to have a long weekend ahead after I had house guests during the week. I need some quiet crafty time 🙂
Today I’m revisiting a stamp and die set that has cute elements for ice cream, cupcakes, and sprinkles. This set is called the Sweet Sprinkles Stamp and Die Set and is a collaboration between Concord and 9th and Ellen Hutson for their United We Flourish series.
I started by stamping the ice cream elements onto Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. I used Altenew Orange Cream, Coral Bliss, and Pinkalicious for the ice cream scoops and Altenew Mocha for the ice cream cone. I die cut the elements and then used Copic markers (YR16 and R24) to add some swirls to the orange and coral scoops.
I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto a strip of Neenah Solar White, and then trimmed each end into fishtails.
I used the same black ink to stamp a row of sprinkles along the edge of an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White. Then I adhered the cone and ice cream scoops. Finally, I removed the release paper from the back of the sentiment strip and added some loops of fine gold thread before I adhered the sentiment to the card front. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
