Happy Friday to you! I’m so relieved it’s almost the weekend, aren’t you? This week felt like it would never end!
Today I’m sharing an autumn take on a pretty stamp from Concord and 9th. I’m finally accepting that fall is on the way 🙂
I started by stamping the image (it’s one giant stamp!) from the Wonderful Florals stamp set from Concord and 9th in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. Then I got down to coloring.
For the orange flowers, I used Y32, Y35, Y38, and YR18. For the red flowers and berries, I used R00, R32, R35, and R39. For the twigs, I used E50, E53, and E57. And for the leaves, I used G20, G21, G24, and G28. I always start by laying down the lightest color first and then adding layers of progressively darker colors.
I heat embossed the “you’re” sentiment onto black 110# Recollections cardstock using VersaMark ink and white Hero Arts embossing powder and then used foam tape to adhere it to the card front. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for coming by!
