Hi there and happy Monday!
Today’s card uses some whimsical images from Pinkfresh studios which I’ve tried to pair with some loose coloring. I often struggle with loose techniques so these small but sweet images were a great way for me to get some practice in.
I used flower images from the Fleur 1 stamp set and the bird from the Bird With Flowers stamp set. Both sets are from Pinkfresh Studios. I stamped them in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock.
I used R20, R22, and R24 to color the flowers, doing some very quick but incomplete blending. I used B00, B02, and B05 for the bird and leaves.
Using a Brother ScanNCut2, I cut out all of the images and then laid them out on an A2-sized card front so I could get an idea of where I wanted to stamp the sentiment, which I stamped in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
Then I used Zots Bling adhesive dots to adhere the flowers. I like using these dots when I have many small pieces arranged and want to adhere them without losing the arrangement. I can easily slide the Zots beneath the elements without having to shift them. When I finished adhering the flowers, I used foam tape to pop up and adhere the little bird. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for coming by!
