Hello there, lovelies!
Today I’m celebrating my 200th day on Instagram with a thank you card made with all of you who have supported me in mind. Thank you so much for joining me in this crafty journey!
This card uses some of my favorite items from Simon Says Stamp. I stamped the large spray of flowers from the Beautiful Flowers stamp set in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. I colored the flowers with R81, R83, R85, and R89 and the leaves with G20, G21, G24, and G28. I also used a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add white dots to the stamen.
Then I die cut the Thanks sentiment, from the Big Thanks die set, four times. Once out of Neenah Solar White, and three times out of #110 white Recollections cardstock. I used the same four red Copics to color the Neenah Solar White die cut. I kept the die cut in the negative space and backed it with Post-It tape to keep it stable while I colored. I started with the lightest color and then added layers of darker and darker colors, from the bottom up, to create an ombre effect. Then I stacked and adhered all the die cuts together to create a dimensional sentiment.
I placed the card front into a Misti stamping tool and stamped the “for making my day brighter,” from the Big Thanks Words stamp set, in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Then I adhered the Thanks die cut with Ranger Multi Medium Matte glue. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting, and for your ongoing support!
