Thank You Cards, Thanksgiving Cards

Grateful

Happy Wednesday to you!

Today I’m sharing a card that I started coloring at Kathy Racoosin’s The Coloring Challenge Roadtrip at Concord and 9th last Saturday.  Concord and 9th was so generous and gave everyone who attended this beautiful stamp and die set!

I started by stamping the large spray of flowers from the Grateful For Everything stamp set in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock.

Then, I got down to coloring.  I started with the lightest colors and then layered in increasingly dark colors.  For the flowers, I used YR000, YR00, YR02, and YR18 (I could have skipped the YR000).  For the leaves, I used BG10, BG45, and BG49.  And for the wheat, I used E53.  I also used a white Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add details to the stamen of the open flowers.

Then, I used a ruler and pencil to lightly drawn in a frame.  I positioned the sentiment and stamped it in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  Then I inked in the frame using a 01 Pigma Micron pen. To finish, I adhered the cardfront to an A2-sized card base.

Thanks so much for visiting!
