Hi there, I hope your week is going well!
Today I’m sharing a card using some green Distress Oxide inks that I rarely use. I think these colors are gorgeous, but I rarely reach for greens. I may have to change that!
I started by using VersaMark ink and white Hero Arts embossing powder to heat emboss the Snowfall Background stamp from My Favorite Things onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White 80# Classic Crest cardstock.
Then, using foam blending tools, I blended Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide inks onto the background. I really love how these two colors blend together, they’re a natural pairing.
I used the Congrats die three times on white #110 Recollections cardstock and once on Neenah Solar White. I stacked and adhered them together, with the Neenah Solar white layer on top since it has a slightly smoother finish and since, because it’s a thinner cardstock, the poke holes in the die don’t create an overly obvious bump.
To finish, I adhered the sentiment to the background and then adhered the background to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks so much for visiting!
