Hello there! I’m super late with today’s post, it’s been such a busy work week that I decided I needed to give my fried brain a bit of a rest.
I did find time though to make a card using the Kind Soul and the Birthday Wishes stamp sets from WPlus9. I’m using the colors from The Color Throwdown challenge #499.
I started by stamping the large spray of flowers in Copic-friendly Hero Arts Intense Black ink onto an A2-sized piece of Neenah Solar White #80 Classic Crest cardstock. Then I settled in for a bit of coloring. For the large flowers, I used B63, B66, and B69. For the smaller flowers, I used Y11, Y15, and Y19. When I started coloring the leaves, I realized that I’d picked a trio of greens that was a bit too dim and mossy for the brightness I was hoping for. But it was too late so I kept going, using YG61, YG63, and YG67.
Then, I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink, overlapping the flower spray just a bit. To finish, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thanks very much for coming by!
Loving the blue and yellow combo 💙💛
