Love Cards

I Love You

Hi there, I hope you’re having a good week!  I’m so glad it’s Thursday because that means Friday is right around the corner!

Today I’m sharing a quick and easy card using the Heart in the Middle stencil and the I Love You die from Alexandra Renke.  I’m new to this line and am loving it so far.  The price point is a bit higher than I’m used to, so I made sure to wait for a sale and to buy a few items that I thought would be very versatile.

I started with an A2-sized piece of Recollections Kraft cardstock.  Then I used a foam blending tool to sponge Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink through the stencil.  I just love this stencil’s beautiful detail (I also used it over the weekend for this card)!  Et voilà, the background was done!

I die cut the sentiment from white 110# Recollections cardstock and then used a Zig 2-Way Glue Pen to easily add adhesive to the back of “love” and “you.”  I left the “I” and the heart adhesive-free so that they’d pop up from the background a bit.  I adhered the sentiment so that “love” was centered in the open heart of the background and then finished up by adhering the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thanks for visiting!

      1. I have added them to my list! There is another company I just purchased from, Trinity Stamps, that just started up about 3 months ago. They have super cute stamps and really nice prices. I just received my order yesterday. Look out for a card made with their stamps soon!

      3. They don’t have a ton yet, but I ordered the adorable Let Love Grow stamp set with coordinating dies! I can’t wait to play with these!
