This card is an homage to my days skiing with my dad. He taught me to ski when I was four and until I went off to college, we skied together each winter. For four or those winters we lived at the base of Sandia Peak, in Albuquerque, NM, and I made this little scene based on the many many weekends we spent on the slopes there. I finally got to play with these sweet Fly With Me elephants from Mama Elephant. Aren’t they the cutest? And I don’t know about you, but for some reason, I just love seeing critters being carried away by balloons!
