Ain’t Misbehavin’

Hi there, I hope your week is going well!

Today I’m sharing a card that is very different from anything I’ve tried before.  I used the February 2019 Hero Arts My Monthly Hero card kit which is chock full of images inspired by the Art Deco period.  As soon as I saw the kit, I thought of all of the beautiful magazine covers from that era and decided to recreate one, in particular, that caught my eye. Fall Cards, Feel Good Cards, Friendship Cards, Just Because Cards

May This Autumn Season Bring A Bountiful Harvest…

Hi there!

Today’s card features a pretty stamp from Art Impressions, from their Windows on the World collection.  I really enjoyed using watercolors to color this 2″ x 2″ image!

I stamped the Autumn stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto Arches Cold Press watercolor paper.  Then, I used a small 2 round brush and Mission Mijello Gold watercolors to color the image.  And that’s about it!  To finish up, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Thanks for visiting!
