Hi there, happy mid-week?  Is it just me or does it feel like it should be Friday already?
Today I was inspired to paint with Distress Oxide inks after I saw Kathy Racoosin’s Instagram post.  I’ve been wanting to play with this beautiful floral stamp again so it’s been a while since I’ve used Oxides this way so I thuought it was a perfect opportunity to do so.

May This Autumn Season Bring A Bountiful Harvest…

Hi there!

Today’s card features a pretty stamp from Art Impressions, from their Windows on the World collection.  I really enjoyed using watercolors to color this 2″ x 2″ image!

I stamped the Autumn stamp in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto Arches Cold Press watercolor paper.  Then, I used a small 2 round brush and Mission Mijello Gold watercolors to color the image.  And that’s about it!  To finish up, I adhered the card front to an A2-sized card base.

Hi there, it’s been a while!  I hope you had a great week and that your weekend is going well!

It’s was a crazy busy week for me recovering from a few days spent playing at the Scrapbook Expo in Sacramento last weekend, and then taking a day trip down to Southern California for work followed by co-leading two day-long meetings.  But it’s the weekend now and I finally got to say hello to my markers 🙂   Continue reading “You’re So Sweet” →
