Hello, I hope you’re having a lovely day! It’s a little gloomy here but the Lots Of Luck stamp set from Simon Says Stamp is adding a hint of spring to my day. I used this sweet set with its coordinating dies which are also available in a bundle with the stamp set.
I started off by stamping the three pretty flower buds onto white cardstock. I used Melon Pawsitively Saturated ink as the base and then added three layers of details using Cheeky, Peachy, and Blush inks. I stamped their stems in Pearfection.
Next, I stamped three clovers and three grassy pieces using Pearfection and Limelicious. Then I stamped the sentiment in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink. Using the coordinating dies, I cut out all of the stamped images and the sentiment and set them aside.
For the background, I used a large blending brush to blend Surf onto the top half of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of white cardstock. I concentrated the color at the top of the panel and let it fade out to white about halfway down. I used a die from the Nested Domed Arches die set to cut a window into another panel of white cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere it to the ink-blended panel.
Using a glue and foam tape, I adhered the grass, flower buds, and clover into the window and then added the sentiment over top. To finish, I glued the card front to a top-folding card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!
