Hello and welcome! Today we’re celebrating the release of the Altenew December Marvelous Monthlies collection! If you arrived from visiting Therese Calvird, you’re right on track. Check the bottom of this post for giveaway information and the full blog hop list!
I have three cards to share today so let’s dive in!
Wishing You A Beautiful Day
My first card features the Craft Your Life Project Kit: Watercolor Flowers stamps, dies, and coloring stencils. A quick stamp of the floral outline in black ink and then easy blending with the stencils makes for a beautifully sized floral image that is perfect for an A2-sized card! And, the die set includes dies that cut out the sentiments which is always so handy.
Supplies:
- Craft Your Life Project Kit: Watercolor Flowers stamps, dies, and coloring stencils
- Delicate Mandala die for white-on-white texture behind the flowers
- Inks for pink flowers: Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Magenta
- Inks for yellow flowers: Chamomile, Snapdragon, Marigold
- Inks for leaves: Bamboo, Fresh Leaf, Shadow Creek
- Ink for sentiment and floral outline: Permanent Black
- Small blending tools

Hello
My second card features the beautiful Craft-A-Flower: Water Lily Layering Die Set. I cut the bloom layers out of white cardstock and then blended color onto the pieces. I cut the lily pad piece form green cardstock and then added shading with ink. These flowers are so easy to layer; the dies cut out little shapes and numbers that make them so easy to line up, and once all the pieces in place, the helper shapes are completely hidden!
Supplies:
- Craft-A-Flower: Water Lily Layering Die Set
- Mix And Match Frame Dies for the blue background layer
- Vintage Garden Stamp Set for the sentiment
- Inks for the petals: Baby Pink, Fuchsia, Buttercream
- Inks for the stamen: Chamomile, Snapdragon
- Ink for shading on green cardstock: Fresh Leaf
- Ink for sentiment: Permanent Black
- Ink for blue ink-blending: Aqualicious
- Large blending tools
- Blue gouache for splatter

You Make Me Smile
My last card features the Build-A-Garden: Rosa Gallica set and the Beach Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set K. I used the yellow and orange markers from the set to color the flowers and then I used the coloring stencils to color the leaves.
Supplies:
- Build-A-Garden: Rosa Gallica set
- Dotted Tile Debossing Cover Die for background
- Ink for sentiment and floral outline: Permanent Black
- Ink for yellow base for flowers: Buttercream
- Markers for flower details: Beach Garden Artist Alcohol Markers Set K
- Inks for leaves: Dew Drops, Aqualicious, Teal Cave

Hi Seeka. Thank you for sharing these unique cards. I like the idea of placing the flowers on a Mandala for interest. I especially adore your Water Lilly card. The way you have the torn deckle edging around the Lilly, your blue ink blending, and paint speckles are just beautiful. I am looking forward to your next set of cards. Have a wonderful day.
