Hello and welcome! It’s release day at Hero Arts and we’re celebrating the celestial-themed December release with a blog hop full of inspiration and a giveaway. If you’ve arrived from visiting Mindy Eggen, you’re right on track! You can start from the beginning by visiting the Hero Arts blog.
This month we invite you to go on a celestial fantasy adventure with us! The December release is full of stars, galaxies, moons and clouds. The playful December My Monthly Hero kit, with its adorable space cadets, is perfect for birthdays, encouragement, or simply sending a friendly hello. The kit includes a jam-packed 6 x 8 stamp set with coordinating dies. There’s also the perfect cling stamp for your interstellar backgrounds, a gorgeous Rose Gold pigment mini ink pad, and four half sheets of the ever-popular Pitch Black cardstock!

Wishing You The Best
My first card features this month’s kit. I stamped the celestial cling stamp image in Amethyst pigment ink onto white cardstock and then trimmed the piece down to 3.25″ x 4.5″. Next, I stamped the sentiment and the boy with his planet balloons in Intens-ified Black Ink onto white cardstock and then did some simple coloring with yellow, orange, and gray Copic markers. I used the coordinating die to cut out the boy and then fussy cut the sentiment. I used foam tape to adhere both to the background and then used more foam tape to adhere the panel to an A2-sized card base.

You Are The Best Thing In The Universe
My second card today features the Twinkling Stars hot foil plate and the Space Window die. For this card, I cut the Space Window from a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Adriatic cardstock and then used a blending brush to blend Aquatic ink around the borders to create a bit of shading. Then I hot foiled the Twinkling Stars hot foil plate in gold onto another 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Adriatic cardstock and then used foam tape to adhere the two panels together. I finished by adding a heat-embossed sentiment from the Color Layering Stella Flowers stamp set.
Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is the wonderful Jennifer Kotas! Be sure to read below for giveaway details.

I don’t need another stamp set, but I may just have to break down and get the Celestial Bold prints. I love your first card, and my grandson happens to love Outerspace, this would make a cute card for his birthday in February.
