Hello and welcome! Today we’re celebrating the release of the 12 new ink colors in an all new ink pad size from Altenew! If you arrived from visiting Terri Koszler, you’re right on track. Check the bottom of this post for giveaway information and the full blog hop list!

My first project today is a set of thank you cards featuring all twelve new colors. The colors come in sets of four that coordinate perfectly together! For each card, I stamped the Solid Foliage stamp four times, once in each color family: Blue Mountain Fresh Dye Ink set, Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink set, Woodland Escape Fresh Dye Ink set. I added a die cut sentiment from the Sweet Sentiments die set and then used foam tape to adhere the stamped panels and sentiments to card bases.

My second project features the Fresh Bloom Stamp & Die bundle. I used the Blue Mountain Fresh Dye Ink set and Frosted Foliage Fresh Dye Ink set to stamp the petals and leaves and then I used a couple of yellow and orange Copic markers to color the centers of the flowers. For a bit of white-on-white texture, I added a couple of die cuts behind the flowers as I used foam tape to adhere the flowers, leaves, and sentiment to a card front.

  14. I love how you used the four colours in the series in the first card. Looks great. The blue flowers are wonderful too. These inks seem to be wonderful. I am looking forward to trying them.

  36. Love the new inks, especially the round shape and twist on and off caps. The new color, Indigo Skies is a favorite. Love how you used the color family on one card.
