Hello and welcome to the Waffle Flower October Release Blog Hop! I’m happy to be hopping with the folks from Waffle Flower to show you all the fun new things awaiting you on the Waffle Flower website! Be sure to check out each stop in today’s blog hop for fun, inspiration, and chances to win some of these new release goodies!
If you’ve arrived from visiting Amy Rysavy, you’re right on track. If you’d like to start from the very beginning, head on over to the Waffle Flower Blog.
I have several projects to share so let’s get started!
These first two cards use crafty sentiments from the fun Inky Friends stamp set. I started off by creating several ink-blended panels using Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, and Carved Pumpkin Distress Oxide Inks. I positioned the panels at angles over two 4.25″ x 5.5″ panels of white cardstock and then temporarily held them in place with low-tack tape. I flipped the pieces over and used a pencil outline the shape of the white panel onto the backs of the ink-blended panels and then used a trimmer to trim along those lines. I used foam tape to adhere the pieces to the panel that I stamped with “Just an inky hello.” For the other card, I glued the pieces directly to the white background panel and then used foam tape to pop up the sentiment which I framed with a bit of vellum. To finish, I glued the card fronts to card bases.

My next two projects use the new Supply Swatching Bundle. For watercolor swatches, I stamped the paint tube image and brand/color labels onto tags I cut from watercolor paper using a die from the Ink Pad Swatching die set.
For sprays swatches, I stamped the spray bottle image and brand/color label onto tags cut from heavy white cardstock and then I sprayed the tags with Dylusions Ink Sprays.

My last project uses the new Ink Pad Swatching bundle. For these, I stamped the ink pad outline image and brand/color label onto tags cut from Neenah Solar White cardstock (which I use most often for stamping). Then I stamped the swatch colors using the coordinating solid stamp.
Thank you so much for visiting! Your next stop is the super amazing Dilay Nacar!
