Hero Arts Holiday 2022 Catalog Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi there and welcome!

The new Hero Arts 2022 Holiday Catalog is live and we’re celebrating with a blog hop full of inspiration and a giveaway. If you’ve arrived from Pocono Pam’s blog, you’re right on track. If you’d like to start from the beginning, head on over to the Hero Arts blog.

I have a few cards to share today so I’ll dive right in!

Season’s Greetings

My first card features the beautiful Ornament Border Hot Foil Plate. This plate creates a beautiful foiled frame which looks great against Plum cardstock. I added a heat embossed sentiment made with the Season’s Greetings stamp set and coordinating die from the Seasons Greetings Foil & Cut set for a quick and easy card!

May The Wonder Of Christmas Be With You

My second card features the Looking Glass Holiday Kitten die set which creates such a sweet little scene! I die cut each layer of the set from a square of white cardstock and then used Copic markers to color them. Then I used foam tape to adhere the layers together. I backed the scene with a pink and white panel from my stash (I had smooshed acrylic paints onto pink cardstock) and then added a white frame made with a die from the Looking Glass Circle & Square Frames die set.

To finish, I glued the scene to a piece of white cardstock, stamped a sentiment (from the O Christmas Tree stamp set), and then glued the card front to a card base made from Coral cardstock.

Happy Holidays

My last card today features the Hero Greetings Happy Holidays stamp set, combined with the Happy Holidays Foil & Cut set. I foiled the shadow layer of the sentiment in gold and then stamped the solid sentiment in Pale Tomato Core Ink.

Next, I used Mist ink to stamp the Lacy Snowflakes Bold Prints background onto white cardstock. I trimmed the panel a bit and used foam tape to mount it to an A2 card base. I finished the card off by using foam tape to adhere the sentiment over some white leafy die cuts made using the Holly Berries Stamp & Cut XL set.

  8. These cards are all fantastic! I especially love the “Wonder of Christmas” card with the adorable kitten — reminds me of how our cats used to climb the Christmas tree and knock it over. That sentiment is just wonderful, and I LOVE how you have used it with the cute kitten and ornaments imagery.

  48. Your cards are always so beautiful and creative. I think the last one, with the simple greeting and clean look, is my favorite of this bunch.
