Hello and welcome, I hope you’re having a good day!
One of my favorite silhouette sets is the Wildflowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. This is one that I come back to often, especially when I have extra ink-blended backgrounds.
For this card, I began by using foam blending tools to blend Picked Raspberry, Saltwater Taffy, and Wild Honey Distress Oxide inks onto a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock. When the ink-blending was dry, I stamped one of the large silhouette images in the stamp set in Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.
For the sentiment, I use gold embossing powder to heat emboss a small “Hello Friend” (from the CZ Designs Simple Sentiments No. 1 stamp set) onto black cardstock. I trimmed the sentiment into a strip and then used foam tape to adhere it to the background. To finish, I glued the card front to an A2-sized card base.
Thank you so much for visiting!

Really pretty! Love that blended background.

This is gorgeous, Seeka. I wish I could take ink-blending lessons from you. I don’t have this stamp set but I sure do like it. Only another 2 wks or so and I will have more time to play. Trying to decorate a classroom, put in 8 large flowerbeds, work a full-time job and keep a house. It’s a little much sometimes…. Thanks for the inspo!
