Love You Like French Fries | Simon Says Stamp

Hello, I hope your week is going well!

Today I have an easy card featuring the new Sketched Leaf Branches Hot Foil Plate and Die from Simon Says Stamp. I love that this set comes with the coordinating die, even though I didn’t use it here.

I started off this card by foiling the pair of leaves in Spellbinders Silver foil at one end of a 4.25″ x 5.5″ panel of dark teal cardstock. Then I foiled the pair of leaves again at the other end, to fill the panel.

Next, I used blending brush to blend Ocean ink in from the edges of the panel for some very subtle shading.

For the sentiment, I used the Love You die to cut from Tonic Frosted Silver Satin cardstock. The smaller sentiment is one from the Love You Like stamp set which I heat embossed in white onto black cardstock.

To assemble the card, I used foam tape to adhere the large sentiment to the background and then I glued the smaller sentiment on top. Finally, I glued the card front to a card base.
