Just A Card To Say You’re Amazing | Simon Says Stamp To The Moon Release

Hello and welcome! The new Simon Stamp To The Moon release is live and I got to play with the new large Peonies and Leaves stencil. This stencil is large enough to cover a 5.5″ x 8.5″ panel of cardstock which can then be cut in half to create two A2-sized panels! Read on to learn how to create this quick two-for-one splattery card set.

To start, I sprayed one side of the stencil with Pixie Spray which I then let dry for a minute or two. This spray creates a light tackiness which allowed me to temporarily stick this delicate stencil to a half sheet of paper.

Next, I used Squeezed Lemonade and Picked Raspberry Distress Sprays to spritz the panel. I removed the stencil and rinsed it and set the panel aside to dry.

I trimmed the panel in half and then further trimmed another 3/8″ off the length and width of each A2 background. Using Versafine Clair Nocturne pigment ink, I stamped the sentiments in the corners of the panels (“Thankful For You” is from All The Thanks and “Just A Card To Say You’re Amazing” is from XL Greetings 2).

To finish, I used foam tape to adhere each card front to an A2 card base.
